Changelog
Last updated: June 12, 2026
A plain-language record of what we have shipped. You are on v0.16.6 today.
We release often. Smaller updates fix rough edges; larger ones add things you can see and use right away.
12 June 2026
v0.16.6 — Kanban live updates no longer crash after reconnecting.
- Fixes a rare stack overflow when the board reconnects to live updates after being idle or disconnected.
12 June 2026
v0.16.5 — Sidebar account and logout stay put while you scroll.
- On the dashboard and admin pages, your account menu, logout, and Back to app links stay anchored at the bottom of the menu column instead of drifting off-screen on long pages.
12 June 2026
v0.16.4 — Site admins can enable the connection indicator in production.
- A switch under Admin → Settings turns on the email and latency readout on kyppo.app for site admins — handy when tracking down network lag.
- On localhost the indicator still appears automatically while you develop.
12 June 2026
v0.16.3 — Kanban boards stay in sync after you step away.
- Leaving a board open for a while no longer breaks live updates — the connection quietly reconnects when you come back.
12 June 2026
v0.16.2 — Board filters fit better on phones.
- The extra filter row (status, deadline, assignee, and more) stacks neatly on small screens instead of scrolling sideways.
- Deadline and people filters sit two per row so nothing stretches edge to edge.
12 June 2026
v0.16.1 — Navigation links stay readable in dark mode.
- Back-to-dashboard and kanban/list links stay readable in dark mode — muted by default, bright white on hover, with a little arrow nudge.
12 June 2026
v0.16.0 — Site admins can block project handles from being claimed.
- Reserved handles like KYPP or offensive words cannot be chosen when naming a project — existing projects keep their handle.
- Site admins manage the reserved list under Admin → Settings.
12 June 2026
v0.15.2 — Safer wording on ticket links.
- Opening a /tid/ link you cannot use now always says the ticket was not found — so the message does not reveal whether an ID exists.
12 June 2026
v0.15.1 — Share a ticket with a short link.
- Every ticket ID is now a link — open /tid/SOLE-42 (for example) to jump straight to the ticket when you have access.
- If you are not signed in, you get a clear page with a login button; if you are signed in but lack access, you can head back to your dashboard.
12 June 2026
v0.15.0 — Stable ticket IDs you can refer to by number.
- Every ticket now has a fixed ID like PROJ-42 — the number stays the same even if you rename the ticket.
- Project settings include a project handle (the PROJ part) that owners and leads can customise.
- Ticket IDs show on kanban cards, list view, ticket details, and archived tickets.
12 June 2026
v0.14.0 — A redesigned dashboard with pinned projects and sharper board filters.
- The dashboard has a sidebar so you can jump between your projects, shared tickets, stats, and recent activity.
- Pin up to three projects to the top of your list and drag them into the order you want.
- Kanban boards remember your filters and let you narrow tickets by assignee, creator, epic, labels, and status.
- People on tickets and in menus show names when available, so boards are easier to scan at a glance.
9 June 2026
v0.13.0 — Cookie choices, a proper changelog, and a cleaner sign-in page.
- A cookie banner lets you accept, decline, or fine-tune which cookies Kyppo uses — with a dedicated cookie policy page.
- The footer shows the current version number; tap it to read what has changed release by release.
- The site footer now stays on the marketing pages only — signing in no longer drags a long footer along with you.
- The language picker on the homepage is a compact globe menu, and Kyppo does a better job remembering your language.
7 June 2026
v0.12.3 — Smoother menus and a tidier icon picker.
- The navigation menu lines up more cleanly on smaller screens.
- Choosing an icon for a new project is easier — the quick-pick grid no longer feels cramped.
7 June 2026
v0.12.2 — More reliable sign-in with Google and GitLab.
- Signing up or logging in with Google or GitLab should land you in the right place every time.
7 June 2026
v0.12.1 — Invites and password recovery work more predictably.
- Resetting your password and following email links should feel straightforward again.
- Deleting your account now properly clears any project invitations still waiting on you.
7 June 2026
v0.12.0 — Clearer text across the app, plus story points on tickets.
- Labels, buttons, and forms read more consistently throughout Kyppo.
- You can set story points on tickets with a dedicated picker instead of typing values by hand.
6 June 2026
v0.11.0 — Archiving, epics, admin tools, and a board that stays in sync.
- Finished work can be archived with an outcome and a closing note.
- Epics can have their own emoji or icon so they stand out on the board.
- Drag tickets on the kanban board — changes show up for everyone without refreshing.
- The dashboard loads with helpful placeholders while your projects appear.
- Ticket details are easier to read and work with in the popup view.
- Admins get a dedicated area to manage users.
5 June 2026
v0.10.0 — Dark mode, favourite projects, and a safer sign-in.
- Switch between light and dark theme — Kyppo remembers your choice.
- Star projects you use often and jump back to them quickly.
- Sign-in is protected by a captcha to keep bots out.
- Privacy policy and terms of service are now available on the site.
- Filtering and moving tickets on the board feels smoother.

- Choose your language from the switcher — Danish, English, Swedish, and French are supported.
- Filter tickets on the project board to find exactly what you are looking for.
12 May 2026
v0.3.0 — A kanban board you can actually drag tickets on.
- Move tickets between columns by dragging — Kyppo remembers where you put them.
